The HikMicro Alpex 4K Lite A40EL LRF night vision scope is a compact, lightweight version of the popular Alpex 4K series.

The Lite is specifically designed for air rifle shooters and small game hunters.
This scope combines excellent image quality with a compact and durable magnesium alloy housing. As a result, it’s nearly 60% lighter than its predecessor!

The Alpex uses a dual-battery system, with an internal battery built into the scope for short-term use.
Additionally, an included external rechargeable battery can be inserted, providing a total runtime of up to 7 hours!

Laser rangefinder & ballistic calculator

The Alpex 4K Lite is the perfect tool for the pest-control hunter who often shoots at short to medium distances.
Thanks to the extremely short minimum range of the laser rangefinder (LRF), starting at just 3 meters, the Alpex Lite can even calculate the bullet trajectory close-up inside a barn.

But don’t underestimate the Lite! The rangefinder has a maximum range of no less than 1000 meters, making the Lite perfectly suitable for longer-distance shots as well.

The Alpex predicts the bullet trajectory using the built-in ballistic calculator.
For this, the shooter must first enter the following data:

  • Bullet weight

  • Ballistic coefficient

  • Muzzle velocity (measured with a chronograph)

  • Mounting height

Day/night vision | Do you need an IR-light?

The Lite is designed to operate both during the day and at night.
Like many other digital night vision scopes, the Lite requires the support of an infrared illuminator when used in the dark.

We recommend the Hikmicro Illuminator Pro 940nm for this purpose.
Pro tip: Use it in combination with the convenient Hikmicro Quick Release Mount.

Our opinion on the Alpex Lite 4K

We had the privilege of testing the prototype of the Alpex 4K Lite well before its official launch.
During field use, we became very impressed with its build quality, lightweight design, and ease of use.
The calculations are accurate, reliable, and perfectly applicable even at short distances.

Unlike its bigger brother, the Alpex 4K A50EL, the Lite does not feature an adjustable aperture.
This gives the A50EL some advantages in terms of image settings and daylight use.
However, in terms of image quality and practical usability, the Lite certainly holds its own.
