The DNT Hydra HS325 was developed as a versatile system that can be used as a riflescope, clip-on device, and handheld spotter.
Thanks to this multifunctional design, the Hydra is suitable for a wide range of field applications.
As a riflescope, you can easily mount the Hydra to your rifle using the included Picatinny/Weaver mount.
As a clip-on module, the Hydra is compatible with LPVOs (Low Power Variable Optics) and low-magnification riflescopes, allowing you to easily upgrade your existing daytime optics with thermal imaging technology.
Thanks to its compact size, ergonomic design, and low weight of only 380 grams, the Hydra is also comfortable to use as a handheld spotter.
Beneath the rugged CNC-machined 6061 aluminum housing lies advanced thermal imaging technology.
The Hydra HS635 features a high-quality 12μm thermal sensor with a sensitivity of ≤18 mK and a resolution of 384x288 pixels.
Combined with DNT’s Super Resolution algorithm, this delivers sharp, detailed images even when using digital zoom.
The 1024×768 micro-OLED display and comfortable 65mm eye relief provide a viewing experience comparable to that of a traditional riflescope.
The robust construction is IP67 waterproof and resistant to heavy recoil up to .50 BMG / 800Gs, ensuring reliable performance even in harsh conditions.
For extended use, the Hydra uses replaceable 18650 batteries (included with charger), allowing quick battery swaps when needed.
Zeroing is simple thanks to the convenient one-shot zero function, which lets you move the reticle directly to the point of impact of the first shot.
In addition, the DNT Optics app offers extra convenience with live streaming, making it easy to view and share footage and observations in real time.
The Hydra lineup from DNT is an excellent example of strong price-to-performance value.
Even with the great image quality delivered by the mid-range 384x288 sensor, the Hydra HS325 is competitively priced within its performance class.
Unlike many other options in this price range, there are no compromises in build quality or functionality.
Simply put: the Hydra is a true no-nonsense thermal optic for shooters who want good image quality and solid construction without unnecessary bells and whistles.
