Improved optical quality

At the core of the GenII is a significant improvement in optical quality, thanks to the new German glass lenses.
This results in a noticeably sharper image, a more forgiving eye box and a wider field of view, enhancing your ability to locate and track targets with ease. Edge-to-edge clarity has also been improved, making the entire viewing experience more immersive and precise.

Turrets & parallax knob

The parallax knob has been re-engineered for smoother operation and finer adjustment, with a larger diameter that allows for more controlled and confident tuning.
The turrets have also been redesigned, offering crisper tactile feedback and a larger grip surface for better control, especially under pressure or while wearing gloves.
The elevation turret includes a zero-stop for reliable return to zero, while the windage turret is capped for added protection and convenience for hunters.

APR-2D Reticle

This particular model features the metric APR-2D reticle in MRAD.
It's ideal for accurate holdovers and precise wind calls in the field or at the range.

Despite all these enhancements, the scope is now slightly more compact and lightweight, with a reduced overall length and weight that improves handling and balance on your rifle.
It also retains all the trusted features that made the original Helix a favorite, including fully multi-coated lenses for optimal clarity and light transmission, a removable throw lever for quick magnification changes, stainless steel turret internals for long-term tracking reliability, and parallax adjustment from 10 meters to infinity. It is waterproof, shockproof and nitrogen-purged to eliminate internal fogging.

Our opinion on the Element Optic Helix Gen2

Choosing the right optic is just as difficult as choosing a rifle. But the previous generation of the Helix has been a favorite among our customers and staff alike.
This is certainly due to the great quality and features for its price-range that make it suitable for both competition shooters as hobby-plinkers at various ranges and skill levels.

Now with the second generation improvements, we were anxious to try and test this scope as soon as it came in.
