The Arken EP-5 Gen2 7-35x56 is the second generation of the popular EP-5 rifle scope.

With a magnification of 7 to 35x and Japanese ED glass, you get a sharp, high-contrast image even at long range.

The scope has a 34mm tube and a 56mm objective for great light transmission.

First Focal Plane (FFP)

The reticle sits in the first focal plane.
This means the reticle scales with the magnification of the scope.

As a result, the MIL subtensions are correct at every magnification, which is handy for holdovers and ranging.

Illuminated VPR reticle

The Variable Precision Reticle (VPR) has a metric (MIL) layout.

The reticle has red illumination, powered by a CR2032 battery (included).
This keeps the reticle clearly visible in low light.

Turrets and Zero Stop

The turrets adjust in steps of 0.1 MRAD.
Adjustment range is 30 MRAD elevation and 15 MRAD windage, with 10 MRAD per revolution.

With the Arken Zero Stop (AZS) system you quickly return to your zero.

Side focus

With the side focus you set the parallax from 25 yards to infinity.

This keeps the image sharp at every distance, including the shorter ranges where airguns are often shot.

In short

The Arken EP-5 Gen2 is a solid rifle scope with plenty of magnification at a sharp price.
You get Japanese ED glass, an illuminated FFP reticle and a zero stop.

A great scope for anyone who wants to shoot seriously at long range!
