These plastic shims/spacers in various thicknesses allow you to precisely adjust the thread timing for a perfect fit and alignment.
How to use the FX Folding Stock Shims
Using the shims is straightforward.
They ensure that the threaded connection reaches its final position sooner.
For the strongest and most secure installation, we recommend using as few shims as possible.
The set includes many shims, but in most cases you will only need 3–4 of them.
The thickest 3 mm shim should be installed first to cover the unthreaded relief groove.
