These screws prevent play on the pins/axis on which the trigger group of the FX DRS, Panthera/Dynamic, and other FX air rifles pivots.
When are these needed?
If the pins are not secured, there is a chance that play can develop in the trigger group.
Many air rifles come with these screws installed as standard, but not all models do.
They are also useful as replacements if one gets lost during cleaning or maintenance.
In addition, these screws are often chosen for aesthetic reasons. They are slightly longer than the FX2562 screws commonly used by FX, allowing them to fill the screw hole more neatly.
