The Crosman Vital Shot is simple to use, doesn’t have too many bells and whistles, has plenty of power for its caliber, and is (to put it bluntly) very affordably priced for how fun it is to shoot!

Power

In the brochure, Crosman advertises 24 joules of energy. We tested this, and it is achievable with the lightest pellets.
However, with more commonly used pellets (JSB Exact, H&N FT Trophy, etc.) of around 8–9 grains, this rifle reaches a maximum of about 20 joules.

That is more than a solid power range for this caliber.
With this energy, the Vital shot is more than capable of accuracy while still delivering a good amount of energy on target!

Using the Vital Shot

The Crosman Vital Shot is extremely easy to use!
You break the barrel, insert a pellet, close the barrel… and you’re ready to shoot!

Inside the trigger guard is the safety catch, which allows you to manually lock the trigger.

The barrel is equipped with iron sights (rear sight & front sight) for aiming.
Need more precision? The rifle has an 11 mm dovetail rail for mounting an optional scope.

Our opinion on the Crosman Vital Shot

The Vital Shot doesn’t perform miracles. But for this price, it’s genuinely a very fun option for both beginners, as expert shooters!

Lightweight, common caliber, sufficient power, and easy to use.
That definitely makes it worth trying out!
