The ZAN Projectiles ELR slugs in caliber 5.5mm (.218) are high-quality projectiles, specially developed for powerful PCP air rifles.
By cold-swagingthe lead in a precision mold, exceptional uniformity in both shape and density is guaranteed.
These Extreme Long Range (ELR) slugs of 34.6 grains (2.24 grams) feature a very high ballistic coefficient (BC), resulting in prolonged energy retention and minimal wind drift. This makes them ideally suited for precision shots at long range.
Hyper Line
Thanks to an innovative anti-friction coating, these projectiles have several practical advantages.
The coating reduces friction in the barrel when fired, allowing the slugs to reach higher velocities. In addition, the special layer virtually eliminates lead fouling in the barrel, which improves shot-to-shot consistency.
The striking yellow color of the coating also makes the bullet path more visible during flight, enabling you to correct follow-up shots more quickly (for example when compensating for wind).
