The Epoch from Skout Airguns is a bullpup PCP air rifle manufactured in Loyalhanna, PA, USA and is assembled from high quality materials.

Because this compressed air rifle has very few moving parts, there is virtually no wear and it can have a long life with simple maintenance.

Barrel/bore system

Thanks to the supplied interchangeable barrel system, this rifle is extremely versatile in use.
The Epoch comes with 3 barrels of the same caliber, but with a small bore-size difference. By changing these barrels, the rifle can perform optimally with any type of ammunition like pellets and slugs.

Balanced valve & Electronic trigger

The unique thing about this rifle, however, lies in the valve system. This rifle, unlike most in the market, does not use an internal hammer to open a valve at all.
The plenum (chamber with regulated air) remains closed thanks to the "balanced valve" system.
An electronic trigger controls a solenoid driven system that changes the pressure of the balanced valve, which pulls it open.
The power supply of this electronic system is in the grip and has a status display on the back. Skout has been in the paintball market for decades, where this system has proven itself very well.

The result is a highly adjustable, consistent, and efficient system with few moving parts.

Magazine

The influence of the magazine on accuracy is a much forgotten aspect, but it has a lot of influence on the precision of a compressed air rifle. The spring pressure of the housing on the ammunition can cause minor deformations. This is why you see a lot of single-shot trays at competitions.

The Skout Epoch has a special magazine that has no fixed spring pressure.
The shooter can determine the preload of the spring himself. This also allows the use of minimum spring pressure for competition and precision, or higher spring pressure for reliable fast feeding.

Adjustability & Accessories

The stock and cheekpiece of the Epoch are adjustable to the optimal position of the shooter. The pistol grip panels are also interchangeable for the ideal width. For left-handed shooters and speed shooters it is also possible to place the sidelever to the left.

around the barrel are M-Lok slots for mounting accessories such as mounts, lights, lasers, etc.
On top of the Epoch is a long 22mm picatinny rail for mounting optics.
